Knicks & Bucks Pursuing Dwyane Wade
The New York Knicks have intensified their talks with Miami Heat free-agent Dwyane Wade, according to a report by ESPN.

National Basketball Association free agency is only hours away from starting and the Miami Heat have a few key decisions to make. “I’m not ready for their to be a ninth”. There is some flexibility in the deal, however, in case the team is able to land top free agent Kevin Durant. Dallas is the only one in that group that made the playoffs past year, and it was unable to land either of its primary free agent targets today with Hassan Whiteside and Mike Conley agreeing to re-sign with their current teams. However he bounced around the D-League and overseas for two years.
Wade got the benefit of numerous calls from the officials when his Miami Heat rallied from a 2-0 deficit to beat the Mavericks in six games in the 2006 NBA Finals.
Wade is a free agent after completing a one-year, $20 million contract with the Heat last season.
Wade averaged 19 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.6 assists while playing a career-low 30.5 minutes per game this past season. Some of the prioritizes include trying to sign superstar Kevin Durant, retaining Hassan Whiteside and re-signing Dwyane Wade.
Landing Wade would be quite a coup for the Knicks, as they look to be in more of a win-now mode than people thought after acquiring Rose in a trade.
The Trail Blazers played Mason Plumlee as their center this past season. He said that he was open to offers, but eventually returned to the Heat on a one-year, $20 million deal.
Hassan Whiteside will hopefully make the right decision and go to a team that he will do what we have seen him do in the past.
Guard Bradley Beal has agreed on a five-year maximum contract worth $128 million to stay with Washington.
