Knicks sign forward/center Kevin Seraphin
The former first-round pick played his entire five-year career in Washington. Marc Stein reports that Miller may have to wait until later in the summer since most teams rosters are set, but later on teams like the Memphis Grizzlies, Oklahoma City Thunder and Dallas Mavericks could be fits for the shooter.

After being involved in free agent rumors with Kevin Séraphin, the Knicks eventually agreed to a deal with him.
Seraphin is the fifth interior player that the Knicks have added this offseason and eighth overall.
Seraphin, who is very talented, should help the Knicks in several areas.
The Knicks now have no more cap space left, having spent almost $30 million available to them on Robin Lopez, Arron Afflalo, Derrick Williams and Kyle O’Quinn, and they also re-signed Lance Thomas and Lou Amundson.
At 6-foot-10, Seraphin is predicted to again up each the facility ahead and middle positions with the Knicks.
Veteran guard Sasha Vujacic could sign for the franchise in coming days. The New York Knicks!
That is one of the things the Knicks will have to figure out during training camp, as there seems to be one or two openings in the starting lineup.
The Knicks will reportedly bring in undrafted free agents Darion Atkins and Wesley Saunders and could also bring in their 2014 second round selection Thanasis Antetokounmpo. Signing Seraphin for cheap could be a good deal for the Knicks this season. He is a physical player who is an excellent rebounder. In his career Seraphin has averaged 6.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 0.8 blocks.
Boozer comes in after averaging 12 points and almost seven rebounds per game for the Lakers and he could be a solid depth option for teams at forward.

Seraphin isn’t going to blow away anyone with his night-to-night tallies, but he did score in double figures 22 times last season while topping out at 17 points in a January showdown with the San Antonio Spurs.
