Kobe Bryant’s 20th Season Will Be His Last
Bryant, 37, one of the greatest U.S. basketball players ever, will retire after spending his entire 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Or he does, just not when it comes to Kobe Bryant. “We’ve been in frequent contact”.
Fans that attended the Lakers’ game last night would receive a letter from Kobe himself.
Responding to social media backlash to his comments, particularly the part about media coverage, Durant said his point was noting the negativity around Bryant, rather than appreciating the accomplishments of a legend on his way out.
Last season during a game played in late January, Anthony Davis couldn’t believe what he was seeing at the Smoothie King Center.
“My heart can take the pounding“.
Silver said: “Whether competing in the Finals or hoisting jump shots after midnight in an empty gym, Kobe has an unconditional love for the game”. This season is all I have to give. Because that’s what you dowhen someone makes you feel as alive as you’ve made me feel. “I had to accept the fact I didn’t want to do this anymore”.
“I played through the sweat and hurt”. I wouldn’t be second-guessing, I wouldn’t be on the fence. “I got very emotional”. Lakers president Jeanie Buss added: “We’re all sad”.
In 2000, Bryant won a title while wearing his fourth Adidas signature shoe, The Kobe. He’s been on this team for 20 years. Those things honestly mean the most to me.
Bryant, enduring by far his worst season since entering the National Basketball Association in 1996, announced on Sunday he will retire at the end of the season.
“Kobe is one of those guys… he hates soft people”, Davis said.
“I think he still loves this game”.
Regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, Bryant’s unfortunate decline has been evident as the Lakers continue to struggle. “We both know, no matter what I do next, I’ll always be that kid, with the rolled up socks, garbage can in the corner, :05 seconds on the clock, ball in my hands“, he wrote. And even more surprisingly, the poem is really good. They know now too. During the franchise’s first few seasons in New Orleans, the Lakers would always be the first game sold out. He was our Michael Jordan. What was your first thoughts when you heard this would be it for him? This guy was 24/7 basketball.

“The knowledge that he tended to give me every time I got the chance to be around him, especially at a young age, carrying over to the league, it was definitely an honor”, DeRozan said after the Raptors’ 107-102 loss Sunday night to Phoenix.
