Kobe Bryant says he will retire at end of season
The most cost effective ticket to Tues. night’s game in Philadelphia between the L.A. Lakers & the 76ers, two teams with no greater than three wins between them in 34 tries, tripled to $60 in minutes.

The Lakers have 66 games remaining after Sunday and it will likely turn into a adoration tour of sorts for Bryant, who has already gotten long ovations from normally hostile fans on road trips this season, particularly in places like NY and Miami where crowds sensed that they might be seeing him as an opponent for the final time.
The NBA fraternity reacted quickly to Kobe Bryant’s announcement on Sunday that he would retire at the end of the season, with some calling it “sad” while other spoke of his incredible legacy.
The scoring output would be his career high and the second-highest point total in a single game in National Basketball Association history. “Whether competing in the Finals or hoisting jump shots after midnight in an empty gym, Kobe has an unconditional love for the game”.
“I think he still loves this game”. “I am glad he found peace, I don’t know if we will see another like him”. I’m happy for him because he said he feels this is his time to go out. Along with his five titles, he was named the league’s MVP in 2008.
But this year, the Philadelphia-born player has averaged just 15.7 points a game, with the Lakers having won just two of their 16 matches.
“This season is all I have left to give”, Bryant said at an internet platform called The Players’ Tribute.
But Bryant’s departure will allow the Lakers to split with the past while embracing a future with young prospects Julius Randle, D’Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson.
I never saw the end of the tunnel. “So I’m not surprised that he would make the announcement now”. He also spoke vaguely about plans for next year, but provided hints such as describing himself as “a storyteller” and explaining his conversations with Giorgio Armani about the fashion designer’s ability to build a global brand after turning 40 years old.
Bryant announced his impending retirement in the form of a first-person story published Sunday on The Players’ Tribune website.

“I don’t want to get too Zen-like”, Bryant said. It does that sometimes. The reality is: No, I don’t.
