Kobe Bryant sits out with sore right shoulder
Kobe Bryant sat out of the Lakers’ 118-78 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday at Chesapeake Energy Arena after feeling soreness in his right shoulder. Lakers Coach Byron Scott called the team’s popularity “a little bit” surprising based on their record.

United not as ‘glum’ as during Moyes’ tenure – Jones
The players are said to have lost faith in Van Gaal and his methods, despite pledging public support for their beleaguered boss. We know full well we have to take responsibility.
The Thunder had seven players finish with double-digit scoring efforts in the blowout.
After ugly victory, Jets still in the hunt
The Jets had just kicked a field goal to go up 19-16 and Moore was trying to at least get the Cowboys into field goal range. The Jets can’t afford a repeat performance against the Patriots next week as they will need all the points they can get.
Bryant will retire at the end of the season after winning five National Basketball Association championships over two decades with the Lakers, and labelled Simmons as “a fantastic player” with “a tremendous amount of potential”. The Lakers lost by 40 points for a variety of reasons – not just because they struggled to get the ball through the hoop – but the lack of rhythm on offense made things easy for the Thunder. The Lakers traveled to Oklahoma City to take on the Thunder on Saturday afternoon and Los Angeles was without Kobe Bryant, as he missed the game with a sore shoulder.

Hundreds of top-10 lists from 72 countries were counted, including the hottest searches from various states and cities. Fellow Internet giants Twitter and Facebook have also released their own set of trending items.
There was no Kobe Bryant at all.
No matter how bad the Lakers seem, the Philadelphia 76ers at 1-28 on the season unconditionally stand out as the worst team in the NBA-only the Sixers beat the Lakers for their only win.
“It’s been sore for the last couple of games”, Bryant said.
The Lakers’ point total was their second-lowest this season and the lowest by an Oklahoma City opponent since the Thunder beat the Miami Heat 93-75 on March 22. “No matter who it is – I try not to worry about it and just play my game”. They shot 8.3 percent from 3-point range in the first half. “We haven’t had a doctor or anybody look at him yet”, Lakers coach Byron Scott said.
“They are pretty much a good team”, Los Angeles swingman Nick Young said.
French big man Joakim Noah got his first start of the season for the Bulls and scored 21 points, while Jimmy Butler and Derrick Rose both started for Chicago after playing more than 50 minutes each against Detroit. He had just 17 career minutes before tonight.
A few teams will make a play for Young. The superstar announced on November 29 this will be the final season of his storied career, with his exit from the game set to bring an end to an era for the Lakers.
The Christmas Day matchup may not be close; recent Clippers teams have dominated the rebuilding Lakers.
For all the National Basketball Association titles and All-Star selections he has piled up during an illustrious career, Los Angeles Lakers Kobe Bryant wants his legacy to be judged on how he has impacted the sport’s future not the past.
“I think it was kind of logical to expect it to be sore at some point”, Bryant said.

“It’s not something I’m absolutely pressing for but being part of the Olympic experience is a handsome thing”, Bryant said. “For a 37 year old to get up like that in 20 years in this league, that was pretty impressive”.
