Kobe would love to play at Rio Games, fitness permitting

The critics on social media have been tough on Bryant, telling him to call it quits, often in the most unkind words. The Lakers are rebuilding now, so they have no shot at a title. “But when the game is on the line in the fourth quarter, all of a sudden the Kobe fans and the Lakers fans in this building quadrupled”. All this helped him as his legs felt strong giving him more energy to shoot.

Asked whether he had accomplished everything he want to on the court, he replied: “No. No. I wanted eight championships, as a dreamy kid, growing up…”

The players from around the league have been letting Bryant know how much they appreciate and respect him and how much they will miss him once he has left the game. But after Bryant’s last basket, Wall’s errant pass was stolen by Lou Williams, one of 23 Washington turnovers.

One great showed everyone how to draw the curtain on a spectacular sports career the right way. Even when I was watching him play [and] I was watching him running up and down, I’m going, ‘Did he just tell me [that]?’ “You can never predict greatness, but I thought he had the talent and skill to be great”.

But despite his declining production, the 37-year-old guard is still being considered for Team USA’s Olympic roster as a nod to his contributions to the USA Basketball program.

A night after playing in his hometown of Philadelphia and missing 19 shots, Kobe Bryant seemed more at home in Washington, where he scored 31 points to lift the Lakers past the Wizards 108-104. He said, “Obviously he’s struggling right now with his shot”.

Dunks come in all shapes and sizes, as we occasionally point out.

Bryant has talked about wanting to have his place in the history of the game, and Roberts how he saw himself compared to other great players. “There’s not many good players that do that”.

According to National Geographic, “Black mambas are fast, nervous, lethally venomous, and when threatened, highly aggressive”.

Can you imagine how you would feel if you were a rookie or young player excited to play with and learn from a legend, but instead were forced to endure the possible wrath of Kobe Bryant (think soft as Charmin comments)? But he still cares about the game.

In November, Kobe only made 29.3% of his field goals and 20.6% of his three-pointers playing an average of 32.1 minutes in 11 games.

It is a question that opponents, teammates and fans have been asking about Bryant for years.
