Floridian rapper Kodak Black, born Dieuson Octave, has been in a Broward County jail after two outstanding warrants kept him there despite reaching a plea-agreed sentence of one year on house arrest and five subsequent years probation.

His driving licence will also be suspended for a year, and he must pay court costs of $298, court records show.

The latest case for the rapper stems from a traffic stop last Christmas on Florida’s Turnpike in St. Lucie County.

He’s expected to be released from St. Lucie County jail on November 30, but he’s still facing criminal sexual misconduct charges in SC. However, there’s a good chance Kodak will be released early as the court is taking his time already spent in jail into consideration. The Florida native still has another case looming in SC where he was charged with criminal sexual conduct.
