The new trailer for Mortal Kombat X focuses on the special powers that Tremor will deliver, which, as the name implies, will be focused on attacking at range with earthquakes and on the throwing of rocks.
While gamers are still coming to terms with mastering that fighter, teasers for the next playable Kombatant, Tremor, have slowly been arriving. Taking to Twitter, Boon more or less confirmed as much to the hordes of eager fight fans.
On Ed Boon’s official Twitter account, he has told the Mortal Kombat X universe that seismic activity has predicted some kind of announcement in a few days. A report by GameSpot revealed that while there are already a handful of characters in “Mortal Kombat X“, developers are quick to answer fans’ wishes by bringing yet another fighter to gamers worldwide.
Mortal Kombat X was created to deliver the classic mechanics and the ultra-violence of the series while also introducing environmental interactions and a unique story for each character. It features all three of Tremor’s forms and even includes what look like two Fatalities, which seem like appropriately gory additions to the game.

That remains a possibility, but for the time being, there’s no indication of what future DLC might consists of. Rain, Smoke, Sindel, Baraka, Fujin, Sareena, Cyrax and Sektor are all high on the request list for playable characters, so we’ll have to see what happens.
