Survive was announced earlier this week to be the first full Metal Gear game made after series creator Hideo Kojima parted ways with the studio past year.

Ground Zeroes, Metal Gear Survive is a companion piece to Metal Gears Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. “Metal Gear Survive” follows the events of “Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes” wherein the remaining members of the Militaires Sans Frontières are driven to a separate universe where they are relentlessly forced to battle against what they call the Crystalline Zombies; doubly put as the Metal Gear itself. Luckily, players will have allies in the form of survivors and must work together to stay alive.
In other news, its seems that the price details for “Metal Gear Survive” are not exactly as it seems as Konami announced that the game will not be in full-price. Konami has promised that the stealth gameplay that the series is known for will still be intact in Survive.
Talking with a few guys on Twitter, Metal Gear Online community manager admitted that “some people are definitely upset”, because they had “different expectations” and this is “reasonable”.

The game was listed at $60 Dollars, but Konami brand manager Richard Jones told Eurogamer that it will not be full priced, instead the game will be at $30 similar to “Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes”. Tashiro noted, “Metal Gear Survive will offer a fresh take on the series’ famed stealth elements but within a unique co-op setting that is designed for a truly engrossing multi-player experience”.
