People dying in slow motion, gruffly voices, absurdly ugly villains, and boss fights from (literal?) hell.
Welcome back to the Backlog Busting Project, and welcome to Metal Gear Month! Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes provides the backstory behind the events in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. When you’ve gathered to the cap of your base, you can expand and make room for more.
The Combat Unit Platform is where the autonomous fireteams reside. Other wings of Mother Base are kept secret for now. Taking showers between missions will not only clear off any blood and grime, but will stave off negative character attributes. There are a lot of features, and at gamescom the Mother Base demo alone takes about 30 minutes.
There is also going to be a gameplay video later on during Gamescom showing off Mother Base so look forward to that later on when we post it below.
The Metal Gear games are always pretty heavy on melodrama, and it looks like the Phantom Pain will be no different. It’s an extension of the Mother Base, but it acts as an online version that also increases resources.
