Krauthammer: A Biden-Warren Ticket Would Be ideal For Democrats, Ensure 12
Podesta, who worked in the White House just feet from Biden until February, was careful not to criticize the vice president, instead shifting his message toward what he said were the benefits of Clinton’s candidacy.

LESTER HOLT: A big dilemma is emerging for the President of the United States amid more signs that Vice President Biden is seriously considering challenging Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination and that leads to the next big question: who would President Obama back?
For months, White House officials expected Clinton to be the Democratic nominee in the 2016 election. Many Democrats are already on board with Hilary Clinton’s campaign, and it’s going to take some convincing from Biden to usurp her as the party’s leading candidate.
Since 1980, Democratic voters have faced a choice in their presidential primaries: the candidate they love with their hearts versus the person they know in their heads can win.
And he’s earned his shot with two terms as President Obama’s right-hand man. Heck, he’s saved the boss multiple times by stepping in on tight negotiations at home and overseas. “… I wouldn’t rule out the possibility of an endorsement in the Democratic primary”.
Adding to speculation that Biden is becoming more serious about a presidential race, CNN reported that Biden met privately on Saturday in Washington with U.S. Sen. She is a very good friend of mine. A recent Quinnipiac survey found him outperforming Clinton – though not by much – against Republicans Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio in key states of Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida.
“To be completely honest with you, and this is not a comment on Joe, I think that people understand that there is something profoundly wrong today with establishment politics”, Sanders said. Her top challenger at the moment is Sen.
“It would not strain imagination to say that Joe Biden was asking her if he went in and threw his hat into the ring, could he count on her support?”
Mr Biden suffered a personal tragedy in May when his son Beau, the former Attorney General of Delaware died at the age of 46 after a long struggle with brain cancer.
Democrats say Biden supporters are also quietly reminding influential operatives and donors that the vice president was ahead of both Obama and Clinton on some issues that are now cornerstones for the party, including gay marriage. Arnie Arnesen has a caveat, she said, “Let me remind everyone that Gennifer Flowers and Monica Lewsinsky was about sex”.
But others are skeptical that Sanders can make the transition from liberal standard-bearer to genuine contender for the nomination without going after Clinton in a harder-edged fashion. Two not so secret lunches in three days for Joe Biden. I’m really anxious about Hillary Clinton.

Biden and Clinton sat on separate committees and focused on different issues, and Biden’s former Senate aides said Clinton wasn’t a frequent visitor to his office.
