Brains are yummy on iZombie and Kristen Bell proved she was no mindless walker when she was solving clues on Veronica Mars, even if people accused her of frying some grey matter for Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical. As first reported by Entertainment Weekly, Bell will provide a voice-over on an upcoming episode that is a spoof of “Fifty Shades of Grey” in many ways. Instead of appearing on the show, she will have a voiceover role. She formerly narrated Veronica Mars as well as Gossip Girl, and starred as Anna in the animated movie Frozen. Bell will follow such other Mars alum as Ryan Hansen, Percy Daggs III, David Starzyk, Adam Rose and Daran Norris.

Bell’s inclusion in the show’s second season is interesting, not only for fans of the actress and Thomas, but also because Thomas said in an interview with TV Line that he has been trying to fight off comparisons between his shows. The actress played Veronica for a three-season run from 2004 to 2007, and provided narration for the series.
