Kristen Stewart Named Face of Chanel Makeup

Do you believe Kristen is a great fit as the face of Chanel makeup? Her first assignment will be in a campaign for Collection Eyes 2016, which was shot by Mario Testino and will make its debut in March. Selecting a familiar face for the cosmetics segment maintains brand consistency, and given Ms. Stewart’s fanbase of young girls from the “Twilight” film franchise, beauty products offer an entry-level price point.

Stewart appeared previously as the facial skin of the 2013 Paris-Dallas 2013/14 Metiers d’art group and is also the face of the Paris in Rome 2015/16 Metiers d’art set advertising campaign to be unveiled in May 2016.

Collection Eyes by Chanel has already been shot, so now we play the waiting game until the full campaign imagery is out and we gain access to the new eye makeup collection.

Now, Chanel is expanding Ms. Stewart’s role as an apparel and accessories ambassador to beauty.

The Cesar-winning actress joins the likes of Gisele Bundchen and Kiera Knightley, who are the faces of Chanel’s Les Beiges and Rouge Coco makeup campaigns, respectively.

The campaign sees the 25-year-old star pose in a series of portraits, incarnating the different facets of a contemporary woman, according to Chanel.
