Kubiak says Peyton Manning’s workout went well
Denver Broncos quarterback Brock Osweiler speaks with reporters during a news conference after an NFL football practice Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015, at the team’s headquarters in Englewood, Colo. Manning will work out this week but likely won’t practice in team drills.

Kubiak said (via USA Today) Manning’s workout Saturday in the team’s’ indoor facility, before the full squad took the field, “went really good”, adding Manning worked hard throwing and conditioning-wise.
Osweiler is 3-2 as a starter since taking over for Manning.
The Broncos also officially named Brock Osweiler the starter for the sixth straight week.
As the playoff picture continues to shape while the regular season is winding down, Denver Broncos quarterback Brock Osweiler is still set to start this Sunday when they take on the Cincinnati Bengals for Week 16 action.
The workout was different only in intensity from what Manning did on Wednesday and Thursday, before the Broncos were given Friday off for Christmas. Safety T.J. Ward did practice on a limited basis today.
The coach liked what he saw, saying the workout “went really good”. But Kubiak said he would attend Manning’s session on Saturday.
“I’ve felt comfortable all along, but certainly the more that you play, the more you learn and the more comfortable you are”, Osweiler said. “So I just try to hold the team and myself up to that standard”. No, I wouldn’t go there.
The Denver Broncos (10-4) are coming from a 34-27 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
As it stands, the Broncos have an outside shot to land a first-round bye.

“Our organization is confident Peyton does things the right way, and we do not find this story to be credible”.
