The rumors, and to make this clear these are rumors at this time, are Angle vs. Ken Shamrock and/or Angle vs. Kimbo Slice.

Kurt Angle has talked about competing in Mixed Martial Arts for years, but ultimately nothing ever came to fruition. Instead, it turns out that Angle’s role for the company will be much less than what people had expected. Angle recently made an announcement for a fan fest appearance for Bellator MMA, but has not been on TNA television since being written off after the Bound For Glory pay-per-view. No other details were made available in regards to Angle fighting for the promotion. The event will be held at Dave and Buster’s in Maryland Heights, Mo., on November 5, the eve of Bellator 145 in St. Louis.
While a few of Angle’s fans may have been disappointed in this news, it is the right decision for Angle and his future.
Kurt Angle continues to tease a possible MMA debut.

Angle had said at the time he would not re-sign with the company, but he also ruled out himself pursuing a deal with WWE or another company as well. Angle’s amateur wrestling career far surpassed that of numerous former amateur wrestlers who entered MMA.
