In a post on thekyliejenner.com, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 18, and celebrity makeup artist Hrush Achemyan give a basic how-to for a look they call “the Smokey Rock Star”, which illustrates how to get that ideal, messy smoked-out eye with a rocker edge.
It’s been a busy start to the year for Kylie, who has been working hard to expand her already successful beauty empire which saw her lip kits selling out within seconds when they launched last year.
A few minutes into the clip we witnessed talented Hrush take a concealer laden brush to Kylie’s ear (yep you read that right) as she proceeded to contour from the inside out.
We know, we’re struggling to figure it out too.

She wasn’t joking. Achemyan agreed, “It’s a really good tip that a lot of people don’t do”.
Starting with the base, Hrush Achemyan builds up Kylie’s usual foundation, highlighter, and concealer. It makes sense, kind of: If you’re contouring your entire face in a shade darker than your skin tone and leaving your ears untouched, it’ll be real, real obvious, particularly in photos.
