Kylie Jenner Opens Up About Being Bullied

While we have seen on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and on the Call Me Caitlyn series that Caitlyn Jenner’s stepdaughters have struggled in their relationships with her since her transition and introduction to her new self in Vanity Fair, there’s one person in her family she is not struggling with: daughter Kylie. “My worst fear is waking up and finding something bad about me on the Internet”.

“I would listen to Jack Johnson and stare at the sky until my anxiety went away”. When I was 16, I was always outside.

The 18-year-old reality TV star, who is the youngest of the Kardashian/Jenner clan, has described her ambition to be known as a businesswoman when she is 30-years-old and to move her life out of the public eye. She has since channeled her negative experiences into developing an anti-bullying campaign on Instagram called #IAmMoreThan and Being Bullied.

“Yeah, pretty much ever since I was nine, since the show started, there’s been so much bullying towards me”, she said.

“I’m constantly infantilized because of my wheelchair, denied even the idea of sexuality and agency let alone desirability”. And it’s just completely torn me apart. “So if I were to wish for something else, it would just to be happy all the time, to have a superpower of not letting things affect me, and to be true to who I am, always”.

“I honestly hate wearing makeup”. I have done everything to prepare for college, so if I wanted to in the future, I could go at any time. So I just try not to change and stay authentic.

She has since branched out on her own by taking on a number of solo projects, including launching a cosmetics line, and Kylie has now revealed she plans to give up showbusiness as soon as she hits the landmark birthday. That took a toll, and now I have two really great best friends that are the only people I hang out with.

“I think she could have covered her bum a little bit more right there”, she said. But it doesn’t affect me anymore; I’m totally fine with it. It’s just when you’re young, like 9, 10. “So I kind of wanted them to just use my platform and post their stories on Instagram to hopefully inspire my followers too, because they inspire me so much”, Jenner tells DeGeneres in the video below. “People with disabilities are already seen as powerless, and this just reinforces that”.

“Oh I see! When I’m in my wheelchair none can look me in the eye but when Kylie Jenner sits in a wheelchair it’s FASHION”.
