LA Rams sign head coach Jeff Fisher to contract extension

Coach Jeff Fisher made the announcement Friday after Los Angeles’ final practice for its home opener against Seattle.

The word on the street, I don’t know if they actually put it in one of the…because…they haven’t really put out the Michael Brockers contract extension yet, because I know he just got a contract extension.

“He’s gonna be two”, Fisher told reporters.

The loss against the 49ers dropped Jeff Fisher’s record with the Rams to 27-37-1. While the tight tanktops haven’t gone away, they’re now warmly joined by Rams apparel. “He creates opportunities for everybody else, and then every so often he makes a big play himself”. If Keenum plays well, he keeps his job. Last season, it was $76, giving the Rams by far the NFL’s largest ticket-price jump from one year to the next, according to SeatGeek.

The fact that defeat came at the hands of AFC North rivals Pittsburgh hurt even more in one of the most remarkable ends to a game I have seen in some time as Jeremy Hill fumbled away possession on the carry that would have sealed victory before linebacker Vontaze Burfict went into his own personal meltdown.

As for whether the Rams are better than past year…

Receiver Pharoh Cooper, the Rams’ fourth-round pick from SC, suffered a shoulder injury against the Broncos on August 27.

But earlier this week, in a stadium roughly 70 miles south of his high school, the Rams’ prized rookie was stuck on the sideline, a first for a top-drafted quarterback since 2007.

What’s truly interesting is that Keenum was markedly better than Goff during the preseason. He said, ‘Are you kidding?

Now that the Rams have moved from St. Louis back to Los Angeles, a move from the 21st largest TV market to the second largest TV market in the country, the spotlight is even brighter and more pressure-packed.

Everett – taken third overall in 1986 by the then-Houston Oilers, who flipped him to the Rams – settled in Southern California after his National Football League career ended in 1997 and serves as an analyst on the Rams’ pregame show for KCBS-TV in Los Angeles. Fisher said he still hasn’t decided whether Goff will move up to become the backup quarterback Sunday. Under Fisher, the Rams have finished 7-8-1, 7-9, 6-10, 7-9. It’s not like the Rams are going to win the Super Bowl this year anyways, so it would make flawless sense to let Goff play and learn from his mistakes in Year 1 to get prepped Year 2. Probably. I don’t have great seats, and I paid a lot for them. Pendleton asked. “No. Do they need to be a winning program over time for me to spend the money I did to attend games?”
