In response to news that rival Mark Cuban would be at the New York-based debate, Trump tweeted Saturday, “If dopey Mark Cuban of failed Benefactor fame wants to sit in the front row, perhaps I will put Gennifer Flowers right alongside of him!”

The bipartisan Commission on Presidential Debates has ruled that presidential debate moderators should act as facilitators of conversation and only occasionally intervene during confrontations between the candidates.
Flowers, a model and actress, claimed in 1992 that she had a 12-year, consensual sexual relationship with the former President during his tenure as Arkansas governor.
Trump was leading by 6.7 points last Monday before Clinton started rising again, almost erasing Trump’s lead by the end of the week.
But in an interview on “State of the Union”, Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway said the Trump campaign had not formally invited Flowers to the debate in Long Island, New York, and mocked the Clinton campaign for being “baited” into responding to Trump’s threat.
According to an Associated Press-GFK poll, more than 85% of voters say they will not change their mind about who to vote for, while 13% say they are undecided.
Rather, the Times said, the best case for voting for Clinton is to consider the challenges the United States face at home and overseas and what it called Clinton’s capacity to rise to them. “He’ll do a good job tomorrow night as a moderator”, Conway said of Lester Holt.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump tried to make the case Saturday that he’d do more to help women from the White House than Democratic rival Hillary Clinton, a lifelong champion of women’s rights who would become the nation’s first female president.
“We normally go into a debate with two candidates who have a depth of experience, who have rolled out clear, concrete plans, and who don’t lie, frankly, as frequently as Donald Trump does”.
The two enter the debate virtually tied. That’s well within the poll’s 4.5 percentage point margin of error.
A spokesperson for Flowers later confirmed to Buzzfeed she would be attending the debate.

Ahead of the debate, Clinton’s campaign also launched a new attack ad, suggesting Trump’s refusal to release his tax returns is linked to his Russian business ties.
