Labor organizations applaud Paris climate agreement

President Obama was not exaggerating when he hailed the Paris agreement as “a turning point for the world”, saying that it “establishes the enduring framework the world needs to solve the climate crisis”. Next April the United Nations will issue guidance rating how far the 187 national climate plans now submitted will slow global warming.
