They all stood in line on the street in front of Glasgow Central Station and chaos ensued – much to the annoyance of local taxi drivers.
Eloquently describing the moment they pulled off their stunt, Chris added: “We had all got the train in and were were just running about the city centre going mental”.
It was also all caught on video, even up to the time when police showed up to end the early-morning shenanigans.
Eventually the group lets up and briefly swarms the taxi driver before running off into the night.
Since it was uploaded, the video has been viewed more than 100,000 times and shared by more than 1000 people on Facebook.
19-year-old Ged Bendoris, from Giffnock, Glasgow, was one of the traffic cones.
“There were a few people at the bus stop”.
Police were called out to deal with a group of men dressed as traffic cones holding up cars in a Halloween prank.
“We dress up as a group every year”. It made me laugh.
