Tony Hadley’s wife Alison has confessed she hasn’t let their children watch their dad on ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’ because of the language Lady Colin Campbell has been using to insult him.

Last year The Only Way Is Essex star Gemma Collins quit the programme having managed just three days while grumbling about hunger and complaining that she thought she may have malaria.

“Tony’s [Hadley] refusal was entirely personal and based on the fact that I was a Lady with a capital “L”…”

“We were whispering about her being there when she suddenly tapped me on the shoulder and asked if her boyfriend could have a photo!” As everyone has seen, she gives as good as she gets.

“They have earned my disregard…”

“I’m doing the cooking and cleaning – can Duncan just respect that I’m trying my absolute hardest, I graft” she tearfully said.

The couple divorced after 14 months and Lady C went on to adopt two boys by herself in 1993.

When McCann met presenters Ant and Dec, they told her the trial involved crawling in a tunnel. No further details have been released, but the scheduled elimination vote on the show has been called off.

Lady C has been the most talked about campmate this series thanks to her harsh tongue.

“Kieron and Chris were wonderfully supportive, they showed themselves to be true gentlemen and I would hope we remain lifelong friends”, she said of her jungle squad.

Lady Colin Campbell’s final day on I’m A Celebrity… “Don’t vote for me please”, she said. “She would have endless complaints, it would never stop”.

Her headstrong decision to keep a can of tomato soup from her hungry camp mates upset the other celebrities but she formed a friendship with her biggest supporters Kieron and boxer Chris Eubank who was evicted on last night’s show.

There was certainly an element of frustration on my part with Brian Friedman, as the choreographer was second out of the camp over the weekend (not first as I predicted).
