Lady Gaga surprised fans with the first live performance of her new single “Perfect Illusion” at London’s Moth Club early Saturday morning (Sept. 10).

Officially announced nearly a month ago, fans have been anxiously waiting for Gaga’s latest offering – her first musical release in nearly a year.
Gaga also revealed she composed “Perfect Illusion” with producer Mark Ronson and Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker and she wrote it on an old fashioned typewriter.

“It’s a big rock song that makes you want to dance”, he added. Her 2013 conceptual album, Artpop, didn’t really resonate and it’s been a while since we’ve heard the typical Gaga sound.

There has been no official release date for the Lady Gaga new album but it will most likely drop in the fourth quarter of the year.
She also sat at a keyboard to perform a slowed-down version of Bad Romance, and then was back up and dancing to sing her breakthrough hit, Just Dance.
Gaga won a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Miniseries or Television Film for her portrayal of Elizabeth in the fifth season of the series.

After she shared a photograph on Instagram of herself leaning against a blue Ford Bronco, eagle-eyed fans noted that it was likely to be Lady Gaga’s, leading to speculation that the award-winning artists were recording together.
