Lady Gaga Crushes Medley Of David Bowie’s Hits With Grammys Tribute
It was one of the most eagerly anticipated performances of the entire night – Lady Gaga’s emotional tribute to the The Thin White Duke himself, David Bowie.

But Lady Gaga gave it her best shot during a heartfelt but rushed tribute to the singer’s legacy during the 58th Grammy Awards on Monday night.
Film director Duncan Jones, the son of Bowie and his first wife Angie, made a cryptic post on Twitter following Monday’s Grammy awards show in which he shared a dictionary definition of the word “gaga”. “What IS that word?!” he tweeted.
Lady GaGa stunned the audience at New York’s Rainbow Room on Wednesday (17.02.16) with an “impromptu” 30-minute performance.
The pop crooner wore a cleavage-bearing red gown adorned with bold and intricate beading across her chest and down her torso. Decked out in a bejeweled pantsuit and sporting a shocking-orange coiffure, Gag belted out a career-spanning collection of hits including “Suffragette City”, “Rebel Rebel”, “Fashion” and “Let’s Dance”, among others.
She said: “I want people to have the experience of being a David Bowie super-fan, because that’s a wonderful thing”. Days before the Grammys, she got a Bowie tattoo inked on her side, and in an interview with The Associated Press, she described the tribute as one of the hardest things she had ever done.
During the singer’s appearance, she sang a medley of Bowie’s biggest hits, with the over-the-top visuals to match both her and Bowie’s stage presence. And her performance was, above all, a reminder of that.
David Bowie died on January 10 after battling with cancer for 18 months.
Tell us how you REALLY feel, man! “I don’t know what my identity would be”.
The company also provided a hologram of Bowie and a gold-colored piano with three robot arms that danced along to Gaga’s playing.
