Lady Gaga is back with a new single, Perfect Illusion
But, with that said, Gaga can have the tendency at times to do things differently and also play it safe – that’s ultimately what she does with “Perfect Illusion”.

As well as Gaga’s unmistakeable vocals, the electro-pop track boasts some heavyweight production behind it including Mark Ronson, Tame Impala frontman Kevin Parker and BloodPop, who has previously produced Justin Bieber’s “Sorry”, as well as various tracks for Madonna.
“Me and Florence Welch did a duet together”, Gaga tells BBC Radio 1.
She’s really, to me, if not the greatest vocalist in the world.
Lady Gaga’s dropped her single “Perfect Illusion” on Thursday night. If that wasn’t enough for you, she ALSO included Beck and Father John Misty as collaborators on her new album.
Gaga’s brand new single made its live debut when the pop star took the stage after her friend and producer Mark Ronson warmed up the crowd with a almost 2-hour DJ set, according to The Telegraph.
Another Tweet on Friday informed her fans, whom she affectionately has referred to over the years as “Little Monsters” that “Perfect Illusion” was available now on Spotify, including a link to the song.
The world fell in love with Lady Gaga in 2008 when she released the song “Just Dance”. She posted large collages on Instagram in anticipation of “Perfect Illusion” and even the album cover art for her fifth studio album to be released later this year.
Are you excited for the Lady Gaga new album?
The hype for the new single started last month when the award-winning songstress released a number of puzzling messages on her social media profiles, topping Billboard Twitter Top Tracks weeks before its release. That’s what the song is about, wanting people to re-establish human connection and be OK with accepting we’re in this place.

Let’s get the obvious out of the way: Lady Gaga is not one to make a formulaic pop song.
