Like the chameleon Bowie, Lady Gaga has reinvented.

Lady Gaga is showing her love for the late David Bowie – with a new tattoo of his face!
The tattoo was designed and done by Mark Mahoney of Shamrock Social Club in West Hollywood, Calif.
The tattoo, inked on the “Born This Way” singer’s rib-cage, features Bowie’s face as it appeared on the cover of his 1973 album, Aladdin Sane.
Meanwhile, here at Ginger Clam we’re thinking of celebrating the Grammys by having an image of Justin Bieber tattooed onto our beef curtains!
She will perform a “multisensory testament to the icon’s incredible artistry and a reflection of his limitless creativity” the Recording Academy said in a statement about her appearance at the Grammy Awards.
But the 29-year-old has also found a more permanent way to commemorate her love of the iconic singer, who died last month at the age of 69 after a battle with cancer.
Both Gaga and Bowie have used the medium of the stage – and often their own bodies – to express themselves and the many messages throughout their music.
Lady Gaga’s new tattoo is nestled in between tattoos she already has on the left side of her body.
Gaga’s planned Grammys tribute is expected to honor the “Ziggy Stardust” singer, who died on January 10 this year, for his influence on music and pop-culture.
Grammy Awards’ executive producer Ken Ehrlich revealed Lady Gaga was instantly chose to be the flawless fit for a tribute to Bowie.
She admits that David is a true artist’s artist and that she slowly realized that she was meant to be like him in her life.
“As she moves, the environment around her is responding to her, and that’s because of the real-time technologies that we’ve incorporated into it”, said Paul Tapp, Intel’s director of technology.
From one Space Oddity to another, we can not wait to see what she does.
