Lady Gaga has premiered her single “Perfect Illusion”. Will her new record with Welch have a similar sound?

Lady Gaga has confirmed that she has teamed up with Florence Welch on her forthcoming new album. The song states “It wasn’t love/ It wasn’t love/ It was a ideal illusion”, making fans think the song is reminiscent of her five-year relationship with Kinney.

The hype for the new single started last month when the award-winning songstress released a number of puzzling messages on her social media profiles, topping Billboard Twitter Top Tracks weeks before its release. “But in her quest to overwhelm us with her vocal talent, she’s under-delivered with her songwriting”, he wrote. The melody was changed a few times until they had the final version of the song which they all liked. Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme plays guitar on the single, while Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker contributes guitars, synths and drums.

Perfect Illusion” is Gaga’s first single after three years, after her album “Artpop” hit music networks with a bang back in 2013.

‘There are also a lot of things on the internet that are not reality.

Love her or hate her, but I think she has an awesome voice and can sing live.

The lyrics suggest the song is about a relationship which seemed ideal until everything went wrong.
