Lady Gaga Talks About the Isolation of Fame

Gaga will play Elizabeth, the owner of the titular Hotel Cortez, on American Horror Story Season 5. Everything is pretty and insane, so the beauty of it is that it doesn’t really matter anyway. “It’s impossible. They’re inherently sexy, so what are you going to do?”

“Lady Gaga is so brilliant in AHS Season 5 that yesterday I officially asked her to join Season 6″, Murphy tweeted, the eve of the programme’s United States premiere.

At this point the “American Horror Story” pattern is clear: great start, flabby midsection and sometimes forgettable conclusion.

Greenfield’s transformed into a platinum blonde junkie named Gabriel for American Horror Story: Hotel.

There are at least two Big Bads to fear. “And when we were doing that stuff, he was happy and he was scared”. (Murphy and Falchuk wrote the premiere and Murphy directed, and they don’t push the envelope as much as run it through
a shredder and set the scraps on fire.) The assailant also enjoys taunting Detective John Lowe (Wes Bentley, “The Hunger Games”), a man grieving a personal loss.

Lowe is literally called to the scene by the Killer, who rings him on his iPhone to warn him about his next murder. She seems more model than actress.

As we slowly meet its residents, it becomes clear that The Countess is their Mother Monster, of sorts. She lives in the penthouse, where she keeps Donovan (Matt Bomer), an aging boy who shares her taste for the ghoulish.

A serial killer is stalking Los Angeles, and while on “American Horror Story“, serial killers are as everyday as traffic, this murderer stages his victims in ways that just might haunt you.

Paulson and Bomer are ferocious in the premiere, ideal in their sordid desperation. “I think one a year would be great”. The camera luxuriates in the show’s sumptuous, art deco Hotel Cortez set that brings to mind the Disney theme parks ride Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, especially when the camera cruises down narrow, upper-floor corridors. The goal with Gaga’s character and numerous other characters/creatures introduced seems to be oblique mystery and “Hotel” accomplishes that with a constant “What the….??” guessing game. In other words, make your Hotel reservation now.
