Lady Gaga surprised singer Tony Bennett with a special serenade and a massive cake to honor him on his 89th birthday.
The 29-year-old singer-songwriter sang Duke Ellington’s “I’m Beginning To See The Light” to Bennett and led the crowd at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.in singing “Happy Birthday” to the jazz singer, according to People.
Days after playing the last show on her and Bennett’s “Cheek to Cheek” tour, the Mother Monster shared on Instagram a photo of herself along with the caption, ‘LG5 time.’.

It was a multi-tiered cake, which was a recreation of the cake originally created for President John F Kennedy’s birthday at which Marilyn Monroe famously sang “Happy Birthday Mr President”.
