NBC has announced a December 20 airdate for Tony Bennett Celebrates 90: The Best Is Yet To Come, a two-hour special airing at 9 pm ET/PT.

Bennett will also grace the stage to sing for fans, while the event will feature special appearances by the likes of John Travolta, Bruce Willis, Alec Baldwin, Kevin Spacey, and Steve Buscemi, among others. The iconic skyscraper put on a choreographed music-to-light show to honor Bennett’s musical legacy on his 90th birthday.

Bennett’s 60-year career includes the albums I Left My Heart in San Francisco, MTV Unplugged: Tony Bennett, Duets: An American Classic and Duets II. “And I just love every moment of what’s happening today”, Bennett said, reports ABC News, and referred to Gaga as “a great friend”.

After an incredible year, which saw Gaga win her first Golden Globe, the songstress exhibited her stunning vocal capability – which has us even more excited for the upcoming new album.

And keeping Tony’s schedule full appears to be just what the doctor ordered: “My doctor keeps telling me, “There’s not a thing wrong with you, just keep going at it”.

“This is a day I’ll never forget as long as I live”, he said.

Bennett is a musical legend and 19-time Grammy Award victor whose songs cross all generational lines and encompass several genres and styles.
