Lakers’ Byron Scott unlikely to reduce Kobe Bryant’s role or minutes
Yet, Lakers coach Byron Scott maintained that he has not considering adjusting Bryant’s role or his minutes. “I think that’s probably what we learned with Phil. Phil used to like to keep a little turmoil going around, because it could give guys an edge, and you constantly need an edge, you play better with an edge in this league”.

Much has been made of Kobe Bryant’s struggles this season in Los Angeles. “The shots that I could take, pull-up shots, jumpers, and contested jumpers”.
According to Bryant, his personal performances aren’t the reason for the Lakers’ woeful 2-12 record.
“A lot of winners have played in this league, a lot of great teams and nobody has accomplished what this team has tonight, so, we’ve got to be proud of those kind of moments”, Curry said. It’s going to get worse before it gets better, and the two usual suspects are to blame.

But that doesn’t even appear to be an option for Scott, and Bryant continues to say he’s fine while often deflecting blame, like he did after the Warriors game. But I definitely know I’m capable. They are now on a four-game losing skid with an average losing margin of 20.75 points. “Do they think I’m happy?”
However, Lakers coach Byron Scott still believes in the 17-time NBA All-Star, who helped the Lakers grab five championships in 2000-2002 and 2009-2010.
But the 37-year-old Bryant is shooting only 31.1% from the field and 19.5% from three-point range.
“I’m not really anxious about it, honestly”, Kobe Bryant said after the game.
There were low expectations for the Lakers coming into the season after a 61-loss campaign in 2014-15, so the slow start is hardly surprising.
One scout said, “Nothing”, when asked what Kobe has left in the tank before adding, “I hate it”.
Scott also disagreed with the idea that Bryant’s minutes were taking a toll on his play.

Still, Scott said he would prefer that Bryant not shoot as many threes as he has done in the past few games. While Russell and the rest of the young players have their careers in front of them, Bryant likely has only what remains of this season.
