Lakers Coach: Kobe Bryant Has “Privilege” On The Court

He watched tape of the Lakers’ 103-97 defeat to the Portland Trail Blazers at Staples Center.

According to Sam Amick of USA Today former OKC Thunder head coach Scott Brooks would make “an intriguing Lakers possibility”.

“He was attacking the basket and getting rebounds”, Scott said. “Those guys all play for one common goal and that’s to win and that’s all that matters”. “That was the thing that was keeping me up”.

Biyombo can rebound and he’ll play tough but he simply can’t replace what the team loses offensively with Valanciunas out. Kobe’s three-point shooting has been even worse, making just 14 of the 70 attempts he’s taken (20 percent).

“It could”, Scott responded by saying Bryant’s early shooting could have set an unwanted isolation mentality at the start of the game.

Another interesting point in how bad Bryant is, and how terrible Scott is as a coach by letting him get away with his defense (you’ll see in the next video) and for stinking up the joint offensively by ignoring teammates and his own limitations (via an Andy Bailey tweet): There’s been 774 individual seasons in which a player averaged 16 FGA. But Scott defended his star player.

“It could, but first of all, he’s got 20 years in this league”. “He has that privilege”.

“When I’ve become the voice of ‘ball-movement reason, ‘ you know you have an issue”, Bryant said after the Lakers fell to the Toronto Raptors on Friday.

The Warriors are the third National Basketball Association team to start the season 15-0 and the first defending champions to do so.

“I love watching them play because they do all the things we talk about”, Scott added.

Most possessions down the court, the team’s mix of old and new passes the ball around just a few times and then chucks up a shot.

“It’s a special accomplishment any time you can do something that hasn’t been done before”, Curry said.

What did his players say? The Raptors have dropped games to Sacramento Kings (101-107), Golden State Warriors (110-115) and an unexpected one to Utah Jazz (89-93) at Energy Solutions Arena in Salt Lake City.

“I feel great”, Bryant said. “We’ve been playing like s-t”.

“So we’re going to keep talking about that on the offensive end as far as moving the ball and moving our bodies and sharing the ball and being a little bit more unselfishness as a basketball team because I don’t think we’re doing it maliciously”, Scott said, returning to his overall positive outlook with his 2-11 team.

“Now that we’re here and have tied the record, it’s a huge accomplishment”, Curry said.

Bryant and Walton won two titles together, under the coaching of Jackson.

Back in April though, Sports World Report cited that Westbrook has been not been entertaining the idea of the trade and was just focused on his play for the Oklahoma City Thunders this year.
