Referring to media reports, the complainant alleged that Lalit Modi through Twitter has tried to destabilise the country by dropping names of one leader after another in connection with a few wrong practice.

Answering the BJP’s question on why the Congress party did not take any action against Raje and her son on the matter during its tenure, Kamat said it was “our mistake”. In the picture, Rahul Gandhi and Robert Vadra are seen sitting with other celebrities during an IPL match.

In a tweet, Lalit Modi has asked Rahul Gandhi and Robert Vadra to clarify if they ever received any hospitality from him.

Congress spokesperson Ajay Maken, however, accused Modi of trying to help the BJP through the pictures.

Posting the photographs, Lalit Modi also said they were not altered.

New Delhi, July 5: The Congress today alleged that the criminal justice system had been brazenly subverted to protect those close to the BJP and the RSS, targeting Narendra Modi’s assertion of ensuring clean governance in his first year as Prime Minister. Kumar also said a “blue corner” notice had already been issued against Lalit Modi and handed over to Interpol.

He has been tweeting regularly, often implying nothing more than a meeting with political figures.

He had also tweeted that Congress leader Kapil Sibal had chatted over three days during a wedding in Istanbul.
