Lalu Prasad gets ‘Patanjali’ facial from Baba Ramdev
The development was in contrast to what Lalu Yadav had mockingly said previous year: “Ramdev said he will do yogasan in Ramlila Maidan”.

It became the moment of the day when Ramdev himself applied his Patanjali cream on Lalu’s face and gave a gentle massage.
Over the allegations that Ramdev has accumulated huge wealth through illegal means, Lalu said, “He has earned everything through sheer hard work”.
The veteran Bihar leader, in a joint press conference with yoga guru, said that whatever Ramdev earns, he spends it on charity.
Just three weeks ago, Lalu, while addressing a function to mark the 125th anniversary of Dalit icon B R Ambedkar in the state capital here, demanded a probe into assets of all “high profile saints” including Ramdev.
Mr Yadav had invited Ramdev for a yoga session in Delhi, which soon morphed into an endorsement spot for Patanjali products. While Lalu Yadav had earlier described Ramdev as an industrialist and a capitalist.

The exchange drew interest especially as the former chief minister and the yoga teacher – who is seen to be close to the BJP – are on the opposite sides of the political spectrum. “People should mark the difference between a real sadhu and an imposter like Ramdev”, Lalu had told reporters in Patna. Baba Ramdev went on to openly endorse the products of Patanjali.
