Lalu pulled and hugged me at Nitish oath ceremony: Arvind Kejriwal

On his meeting with Prasad, Kejriwal said, “When I went to the government function for Nitish-ji’s swearing-in ceremony he (Prasad) pulled my hand and hugged me”.

“We had two aims in the beginning – tackling corruption and bringing Janlokpal and Swaraj”. The chief minister said, “If we reduce cars on the roads of Delhi, pollution level can come down significantly in the national capital”.

The AAP leader defended his support to Nitish Kumar. While criticising Kejriwal, the 78-year-old said he was glad that he is not associated with the AAP chief anymore. Asserting that the party’s main aim was to tackle corruption, Kejriwal claimed his was the first Government to sack a Minister for involvement in graft.

It said AAP was determined to build public opinion and politically oppose the NDA government’s “totalitarian attitude” towards non-NDA state governments.

He also took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying he had the entire nation at his disposal but even he did not do what the AAP had done in Delhi.

“But in case of our government, nobody knew about it. Someone had sent a clip on WhatsApp”.
