Former National Basketball Association star Lamar Odom was hospitalized on Tuesday after he was found unresponsive at a Nevada brothel, law enforcement officials said.
Odom was found unconscious in his VIP suite at the Love Ranch with fluid coming from his nose and mouth before being intubated at a local hospital and then airlifted to Las Vegas for more treatment, according to TMZ. Instead he was transported to the Las Vegas hospital by ambulance.
Mr Hof, who had his own reality series, Cathouse, on HBO, said Lamar had been staying at his home attached to the brothel since October 10.
Odom was also apparently in a “somber” mood Sunday, Hof said his workers told him.
Hof’s employees said Odom appeared to be taking a lot of herbal Viagra, and they didn’t see him with illegal drugs, Hof said.
An employee from Odom’s management company was sent to pick up Odom’s backpack and cellphone, Hof said. The divorce has not yet received final approval from a judge.
World Peace clearly was distraught about Odom’s health after the game.
Bryant left the arena without speaking to reporters.
Odom, who was the 2011 Sixth Man of the Year as the NBA’s top reserve and won Olympic bronze with the US in Athens in 2004, has endured numerous personal hardships in his life. He eventually went to Dallas in another deal, but was out of the National Basketball Association just two years later. His father was a drug addict.

In 2006, Odom’s 6-month-old son Jayden died from SIDS while sleeping in his crib in New York.
