Lamar Odom is among the most names searched on Google in 2015

Former NBA player Lamar Odom, who was born in Jamaica, Queens and is married to Khloe Kardashian, was the No. 1 top trending person for NY.

In October, Odom was found unresponsive inside a Nevada brothel and was rushed to a local hospital to be treated for an apparent drug overdose.

But while we are often reminded about some of the heartbreaking or salacious headlines over the past 12 months, Google is proving what Internet users searched the most with their annual “year in search” list for 2015.

Google’s list excludes search queries that were sexually explicit.

As the world’s largest search engine, Google is an integral part of how we see and interpret life-so much so that the word “google” been a part of the Oxford English dictionary since 2006.

The other two public figures to make the top searches list include, Ronda Rousey and Caitlyn Jenner.

The top 2015 searches by city look similar to national data, Lenihan said, noting the prevalence of terms like “Sandra Bland”, “Ronda Rousey”, “Jurassic World” and “Blood Moon”.

The most asked question related to the franchise is “What order should I watch Star Wars?” and the top searched film since 2004, the newest one aside, was “A New Hope”.

The year’s top meme: Pepe the Frog.

At the top of Google’s annual list of its top searches are Lamar Odom, the tragic attacks in Paris and dinosaurs on the big screen.

Many searchers wanted to know how to use the new Snapchat update, while others were asking Google, “What is Charlie Charlie?”

This year, “Jurassic World” became the third highest grossing movie ever and claimed the fourth most searched on Google’s list.
