It’s the first significant update on Mr. Odom’s health since he was found unconscious and facedown at the Love Ranch in Crystal, Nevada, on Tuesday afternoon.

The source added that he is no longer using a breathing tube but could have suffered severe physical and mental impairment. The family have now reportedly boarded a flight out of Las Vegas, however ex-wife Khloe has refused to leave Odom’s side.
Her spokesperson reportedly told the New York Daily News the family had “reached out” asking him to respect Odom and the Kardashian family’s privacy by not speaking to the press.
The two-time National Basketball Association champion, and ex-husband of Khloe Kardashian, was rushed to hospital on Wednesday after he was found unconscious in the Nevada brothel, Love Ranch. Lamar Odom’s condition is still not flawless by any means, and doctors are working on him.
Earlier in the week, the Kardashian-Jenner family was said to be “devastated” about Lamar’s situation and “praying for a miracle to happen”.
Odom married Khloe Kardashian in 2009 in a splashy televised wedding.
Odom arrived at the hospital at 4:16 p.m. Tuesday and arrangements were made to airlift him to a hospital in Las Vegas, but that wasn’t possible due to the 6-foot, 10-inch man’s size, so he was taken by ground ambulance to Sunrise Hospital, Wehrly said.
Despite Odom’s 14 years as an National Basketball Association player, including two championship seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, U.S. media have largely focused this week on his brief membership in the most famous family on reality television.
In a statement released Thursday night, 17-year-old Destiny and 13-year-old Lamar Odom Jr. say, “Thanks for your outpouring of prayers and support for our dad”.
We hope Lamar continues to show signs of improvement, and our thoughts are with him during this hard time. “We ask for your continued prayers”.
Detective Michael Eisenloffel, who is probing the incident, refused to say what items of the star’s were taken away after he was taken to hospital and if there were any drugs or drug paraphernalia found in the room. She expressed her concerns that Lamar would “spiral” out of control after suffering another loss in his life.

Kardashian followers would also surely want to know if this episode would pave the way for his reconciliation with Khloe who has admitted she never lost her love for him and amid reports that their divorce has not yet been finalized.
