Lambeau seeks snow shovelers ahead of Vikings-Packers game

“When you lose games, especially with No. 12 (Rodgers) throwing the ball around, when he loses games, he’s not happy”. “I’ll show it, I’ll smile”. But you have to adjust your mindset a little bit, yeah.

‘Star Wars’ crushes opening day record, global sales near 0 million
Stormtroopers invaded a White House press conference as even Barack Obama got caught up in the Star Wars mania sweeping earth. The Force Awakens already smashed several film industry records and won praise from critics and moviegoers.

AROUND THE NFL: Denver clinched an AFC playoff berth when Brandon McManus’ 37-yard field goal with 10:05 remaining in overtime lifted the Broncos (11-4) to a 20-17 victory over Cincinnati (11-4).

Memphis removes Ball from program after postgame incident
Auburn wasted an early 10-0 lead thanks to a disastrous offensive stretch that included three interceptions on four drives. Straight out of the second half, it looked like Memphis remembered how its offense worked and drove down the field.

The final game of the 2015 National Football League regular season is also the NFC North championship game, as the Minnesota Vikings (10-5) will travel to take on the Green Bay Packers (10-5).

Bill Cosby finally faces court for sexual assault charges
Cosby, meanwhile, began to mount a counterattack earlier this month, filing a defamation suit against seven of his accusers . Officials reopened the criminal investigation into Cosby in Montgomery County after new evidence came to light, Steele said.

NBC-TV announced it’s moving the game at Lambeau Field from a noon start to the 7:30 p.m. time slot.

“Sunday night lights, baby. When you watch some of the games, definitely when we play him he’s got the extra chip on his shoulder”.

“We’ve got a core group of guys that have been here for all that”. This would be great for Minnesota. Seattle’s string of 25 consecutive games of at least 100 yards rushing was snapped last Sunday by Rams…. Including that game, Minnesota is 0-5-1 at Lambeau since last winning there in 2009 – when Brett Favre quarterbacked the Vikings.

They now have that opportunity.

While the Vikings wrap up their campaign on a high note, Green Bay continues to struggle.

If Aaron Rodgers’ level of play has fallen off this season – and based on statistics, the Green Bay Packers’ star quarterback is having a down year – then Vikings coach Mike Zimmer doesn’t see it on film.

If the Packers win this one, they’ll host a home playoff game the following week against either the Vikings or Seattle Seahawks (9-6).

The third playoff scenario is Vikings lose at Green Bay and the Seahawks beat the Arizona Cardinals.

“As a matter of fact, all of them came to me and said, ‘Look, we want to win this.’ I said, ‘Of course we do'”.

The Packers won the first meeting, 30-13, in Minnesota in November, but they looked awful last week. It doesn’t look good for Seattle in this one. The Packers initially plugged in Josh Walker at right tackle after Bulaga left but later subbed in versatile interior lineman JC Tretter, who had started three of the previous four games at center for an injured Corey Linsley, who returned on Sunday.

Who they play, however, is still to be determined.

Minnesota linebacker Chad Greenway figures it’s time to change that.

“I don’t know of any of them that wanted to sit out”, he said.

This was a playoff-style game for us and we obviously played bad. “They’re probably not really anxious about us”.

Green Bay has had a roller coaster of a season, starting 6-0 before losing three straight after the bye week. He isn’t planning on rolling out any new garments this week, figuring playing for the division crown is motivation enough.

“I have faith in the football team regardless of what happened (in Arizona)”, Packers coach Mike McCarthy said.

As a life-long Cardinals fan, I’ll be the first to admit: I prefer the latter.

Floyd, though, said he plans to break out his “Beat Green Bay” shirt this week. “I just hit it and got some space, and just tried to run as fast as I can to the touchdown”.
