Lamborghini Centenario Roadster Officially Revealed
Lamborghini calls it a one-off, but that’s not quite accurate.

The automaker released a press release confirming that the Lamborghini Centenario Roadster will make its first appearance at the Pebble Beach auto expo this year. 20 examples of it exist, and they’ve all already been sold. “Only Loyal Lamborghini owners with $2.4 million burning a hole in their pockets had the chance”, said Lieberman.
The Raging Bull’s iconic V12 has been retuned to deliver 759 horsepower, redlining at 8,600 rpm.
While official technical specifications are yet to be released, we expected the auto will be powered by a 6.5-liter V-12 engine. The system’s affect also changes according to the driver’s selection of Strada, Sport, or Corsa driving modes, which also control powertrain behavior, stability control intervention, steering effort, and more.
The Centenario roadster features carbon-fibre body panels and a carbon-fibre monocoque.
The roadster, that weighs nearly the same as the 1520kg coupe, is said to hit 100km/h in just 2.8 seconds, 300km/h in 23.5 seconds and reach a top speed well beyond 350km/h. It stops from that speed in just 98 feet. 0-186 miles per hour goes by in 23.5 secs.

Don’t even bother asking what kind of gas mileage the Centenario Roadster gets.

For an extra $2 million, the Centenario owner gets bragging rights, membership to a club of 40, along with a Centenario-only exterior and interior design, along with a lot less weight and a lot more power. But we think we stared at these Centenario Roadster pictures too long, and the sheer levels of excitement burned out our adrenal glands.
