Fans were recently given a tip by Del Rey herself that the number isn’t just for show.

Picture Taylor Swift at her most romantic (that would be “Wildest Dreams”, duh) mixed with the coolness of Lana Del Rey.
On Wednesday night, Lana posted an Instagram video inviting fans to give her a call, captioned “Call me”.
Lana Del Rey is frequently portrayed as detached despite being one of pop’s most effortful singers. Those who couldn’t get through got to hear her recite the poem “Burnt Norton” by T.S. Eliot, which was probably an unsatisfactory consolation prize, but at least she didn’t read those poems that was the inspiration for Cats.

Lana released her second album Honeymoon earlier this month, with Independent reviewer Andy Gill giving it a 4/5 review, saying “Honeymoon is a very Hollywood album, oozing Californian entropy”. Her popularity has taken an upward turn over the past few days, as Lana has excited her fans with an interesting little bit of information on the cover of her new album Honeymoon. Wishing you better luck.
