THE NEW LAND ROVER DISCOVERY is one of the most anticipated new vehicle releases of the 2016 and Land Rover has continued its dribble of information today with a video showing the auto testing.
As for that second teaser video, which was after the 2017 Land Rover Discovery has undergone 1 million miles of testing in 20 countries, it was time for that one final sign-off test and 1 final camouflage. “That’s why Land Rover’s designers and engineers really have been taking their work home with them”. More than 35,000 individual parts have been tested to the max, and over a million miles have been racked up by 294 development vehicles.
“Land Rover’s design and engineering teams have reinvented the Discovery DNA to produce an extremely desirable, exceptionally flexible and hugely capable premium SUV”.
“Being able to get the children involved in our final camouflage design brought a smile to all our faces”. ‘They don’t always realize it, but these kids have played a major role in developing the New Discovery.
Now Land Rover has given us a further insight at just what went into its development.
‘That’s why we have up to nine USB ports to charge everyone’s devices, why we’ve got space to hide four iPads away securely and why every seat has been created to be the best seat in the house’.
