Officers responded to Brown’s home around 3 a.m. following a 911 call from a woman requesting help.

Police announced that Chris Brown was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon after an all-day investigation at his Tarzana home.

Chris Brown spent Tuesday in a standoff with the LAPD at his Tarzana home that ended with the singer being arrested, the LA Times reports.

Police were waiting for a judge to approve a search warrant, Officer Lyle Knight told The Associated Press.

Video from the scene showed a woman leaving Brown’s home Tuesday morning and waiting in the back of a patrol auto.

“I don’t know if it was Chris” friend or how he was related, but that’s when he told me to back away from the diamond necklace and started cussing me out and calling me names”, she told the LA Times.

A call to Brown’s attorney and an email to his rep were not immediately returned.

Earlier, as police waited outside, videos surfaced on Brown’s Instagram page denying he did anything wrong. Carran claims that Brown exploded right then and there pulling a gun on her aiming at her head and screaming at her to get the f**k out of his house now!

Mr Brown came from his house after a standoff with police on Tuesday. “So I don’t sleep half the damn night I just wake up to all these mother f-king helicopters, choppers is around, police out there at the gate”, he said.

“Good luck. When you get the warrant or whatever you need to do, you’re going to walk right up in here and you’re going to see nothing, you idiots”, he said in one video.

“When I call the police for stalker people that are endangering my life”, he adds later, “they don’t come until the next day”.

Brown has been in repeated legal trouble since his conviction in the 2009 felony assault of his then-girlfriend, Rihanna.

He spent more than two months in custody, with USA marshals shuttling him between Los Angeles and the nation’s capital for court hearings.
