The new content tasks Lara Croft® with solving the mystery of the Shard of Life, and will be available on all supported iOS and Android devices.

The new expansion titled “Shard of Life” will basically bring Lara Croft GO to a 2.0 version, bringing other features to the game besides a new chapter containing 26 new puzzles located in the Cave of Fire bringing the full number of challenges to a staggering 101 missions.
However as is usually the case with Square Enix‘s mobile games, they do not come cheap with Lara Croft GO priced at $5 at launch.
Developed by Square Enix Montreal, who were behind the widely praised Hitman GO, Lara Croft GO swaps out Tomb Raider’s action-adventure gameplay for a turn-based puzzle structure. It will be a free expansion with 26 new puzzles, new enemies, costumes for Lara and new collectables.
The game’s additional levels are designed with advanced players in mind, which means Lara Croft Go’s main quest needs to be completed first before The Shard of Life’s puzzles are unlocked.
Square Enix Montreal has a high bar to maintain, after the acclaimed Hitman GO and Hitman Sniper generated a good amount of hype from mobile players and critics alike.
