Lara Spencer gets heat for cozy Trump photo
ABC News isn’t scheduled to host a Republican debate until February 6, 2016, but I guess this is one way keep Donald Trump happy until then.

ABC “Good Morning America” co-host Lara Spencer may just look like she’s having a good time sitting on Donald Trump’s lap.
The uncomfortably intimate photo, which featured the pair smiling at one another in a close embrace, elicited a few heated reactions on social media.
“Smh this guy disrepects women does not apologize and you welcome him with open arms”.
Others were more frank in their assessment of the photo.
“This makes my skin crawl…” wrote ineedsun. Spencer’s right arm is draped across Trump’s mid-section.
One quips that he hasn’t watched “GMA’s” morning competitor “The Today Show” in a while, “until today”.
After the backlash, the caption was amended.
Good Morning America Host Lara Spencer was criticized after taking this photo with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and posting it to her Instagram.
A spokeswoman for ABC said that Spencer posed for the photo while standing next to Trump, who was sitting in a chair at a “counter-height table”. During the interview with George Stephanopoulos, Trump said retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson didn’t have the “temperament” to be President.

Spencer’s picture did have a few supporters.
