Larry David plays Bernie Sanders in hilarious ‘Saturday Night Live’ sketch
After the actor playing former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton informed David that there’s no “golden goose” to fix the economy, David interpreted her comment literally. It was as inspired casting as Tina Fey as Sarah Palin, and he was so (pretty pretty pretty) good, he even eclipsed Alec Baldwin as Jim Webb.

Tracy Morgan has returned to a familiar stage, hosting “Saturday Night Live” for the first time since a vehicle crash that left him in a coma. We need a revolution! Bernie Sanders, much to fans’ delight. “Millions of people are on the streets, and we gotta do something and we gotta do it now”, David said. David exclaimed at one point. “And we gotta do something and we gotta do it now!” before waving his hands and and saying “Meh” in disgust and surrender.
Welcome back Tracy, glad to see you’re doing alright!
Yet is the link between “Trap Queen” (“in love with the money”) and Bernie Sanders (one pair of underwear!) a stretch? As Democratic candidate Sanders, he quickly “dialed it up to 10” and spouted such quips as “I don’t have a super PAC”.
David played presidential hopeful and Independent Senator Bernie Sanders, showcasing a resemblance that has had many clamoring for David to play Sanders since he started making waves in the Democratic polls. “I carry around my stuff loose in my arms like a professor between classes”.

Carvey is so amusing as George H.W. Bush that long after he was a cast member on “SNL” (he left the show in 1993), he’s still asked to revive his impersonation from time to time.
