Larry David plays Bernie Sanders on SNL

In a riff on the recent Democratic debate hosted by CNN’s Anderson Cooper, SNL brought in the legendary creator of Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm, Larry David, to impersonate senator Bernie Sanders from Vermont.

All David had to do in the sketch about the recent Democratic debate was be himself, and it worked like a charm.

David was joined by Kate McKinnon, reprising her role as Hillary Clinton.

David’s similar features, as well as his pretty accurate Brooklyn accent, were a dead ringer for Sanders.

Tracy Morgan made a triumphant return to the “Saturday Night Live” stage, more than a year after the former cast member suffered serious injuries in a bus accident. We need a revolution!

Larry David thrilled the Internet with his impersonation of Bernie Sanders on “Saturday Night Live”.

It somehow ended up with an admission of how Bernie Sanders only has one pair of underwear, followed by pondering just where your elbows are supposed to go on a podium.

The whole sketch was really good-it was without a doubt the best cold open in years, and added an exciting edge to an already exciting evening-and David seemed to raise everyone’s game. “We’re even happier you’re ready to make people laugh again”. “We gotta do something and we gotta do it now”, David said. “I forgot my password the other day, so they say, ‘We’ll email you a new one.’ But I can’t get into my email to get the password!”

Later, Sanders joked: “I don’t have a super PAC”. “I carry my stuff around loose in my arms!”
