Candidates are forced to talk for more than two hours – i.e. lots of content – answering tough questions and sometimes offering ridiculous and/or canned responses.

Sen. Bernie Sanders expressed delight over “Curb Your Enthusiasm” actor Larry David’s impersonation of him on “Saturday Night Live”, joking that he may invite the fellow Brooklyn native to join him on the campaign trail. Bernie Sanders for their opening bit on the Democratic debates.
David, who was only an “SNL” writer for a year, had no problem channeling Sanders’ passion for change and expressions. “I forgot my password the other day, so they say, ‘We’ll email you a new one.’ But I can’t get into my email to get the password!”
“I’m the only candidate up here who’s not a billionaire”, he said later about being a Washington outsider. I carry my stuff around loose in my arms like a professor between classes.
“I don’t even have a backpack”, he added.
The episode, hosted by Tracy Morgan, included a “30 Rock” reunion with Baldwin, Tina Fey and Jane Krakowski. “Does he have 100 percent mental capacity?” “I might actually be a few points higher now”.
Own The ConversationAsk The Big Question: Will we see Larry David back doing Bernie Sanders impressions again as the primaries go on? “I’m hungry, but I’m good”, David-as-Sanders said, “and if you don’t mind, I’m going to dial it right up to a ten”.

The impression also reminds me of David’s old George Steinbrenner impression from Seinfeld many eons ago.
