Kevin Durant added 21 points for the Thunder in a rematch of their game at Oklahoma City, when it trounced the Lakers 118-78 with runs of 18-0 and 17-2.

The 37-year-old Los Angeles Lakers veteran will bid for a third consecutive Olympic gold medal if he is selected in the U.S. squad.
Hopefully, you enjoyed it because if Lakers head coach Byron Scott has his way, you will never see something like that again.
In Philadelphia, Marc Gasol scored 19 points for Memphis, and Mike Conley had 18 points and six assists. Needless to say, the arrival of Durant and Westbrook had everything to do with the reversal of fortunes.
For Barton’s last shot of the game, with the score 101-95 in favor of the Lakers and 3:32 remaining in the game, the Nugget’s repeated the same dribble hand-off action from the corner with Faried in place of Arthur. But aside from Kobe Bryant’s ongoing farewell tour, it’s actually their antics on the sideline that have made every Lakers’ game must watch TV.
Bryant flew high for an offensive rebound in the first quarter, pump-faked twice and scored on a high-arc baseline shot.
Bryant’s response: “I got him”.
Bryant, who equaled a season high with 31 points Tuesday night in the Lakers’ 111-107 win at Denver, played on consecutive nights for the fourth time this season and finished with 19 points on 7 for 22 shooting in 27 minutes. “It was a great test for me to see if I could still play both ends of the floor”. That hasn’t gone well lately, the Clippers sweeping the Lakers last season while simultaneously hosting in-game dunk contests. Dwyane Wade missed a 14-footer, and after Andre Drummond missed a pair of free throws at the other end, the Heat got the ball back with 1.1 seconds left, and Bosh missed a jumper as time expired.
To Bryant’s credit, he led a spirited second-quarter run that kept the Lakers relatively close. After announcing his retirement not only has he shed the title of villain he has turned the Lakers into must-watch basketball. “I asked Kobe if he wanted to guard him”.
Durant said fans shouldn’t be fooled by Bryant’s cheery on-court demeanor. Gasol also had six rebounds and five assists, while Conley contributed six assists. Several Broncos sat courtside, including RB C.J. Anderson and safety T.J. Ward….
And while Scott said his star’s shoulder was still “a little sore”, it hardly showed.

There were a few highlights in the rematch, mostly from Bryant. On playing overseas after the 2015-16 National Basketball Association season: I would have loved to play overseas for a season but it’s not going to happen. “That’s why I was always so anxious to go out and compete against these guys, because that’s the most fun – to try to figure those puzzles out”.
