Las Vegas pegs Warriors’ wins at 66.5; Cavs, Spurs at 56.5

Let’s just say that the Warriors have the highest expected wins. In addition to the Cavaliers and Spurs, only two other teams – the LA Clippers(53.5) and Boston Celtics (51.5) – opened with win totals greater than 50. Last season, the Warriors didn’t get much rest because they were chasing history. After going 10-72 last season, the Philadelphia 76ers‘ win total opened at 27. Las Vegas’ Westgate Superbook unveiled its 2016-17 over-under win benchmarks for all 30 National Basketball Association teams. That means leapfrogging the Phoenix Suns (26.5), Los Angeles Lakers (24.5) and Brooklyn Nets (20.5) as the NBA’s fourth-worst squad. About 60 percent of the money bet on Westgates odd’s for the National Basketball Association championship are on Golden State, according to ESPN.
